Club run courses and trainingProspective members are encouraged to come to club meetings. In winter at Bishop's Cannings village hall when we have speakers and in summer at the club apiary where visitors get a chance to meet the club's bees and experience the joy of observing and handling honey bees. There are many different courses and events run locally for those interested in learning about honey bees and beekeeping. The club opens its apiary most Thursdays in the summer to visitors. (See Apiary page for details). Local Bee Keeping CoursesThere are a number of people/ groups who provide training courses and events locally for both beginners and those with bees wishing to improve their knowledge and understanding. The information on these events is provided here for club members and prospective member’s convenience; the club does not specifically endorse or recommend any of these events.
