Mulled Wine, Mince Pies and Oxalic Acid !

Hopefully you’ve guessed it, the oxalic acid is for the varroa and wine and pies for the apiarists.  Last year we were pleasantly surprised that about 20 members turned up.  So if you want to wish the bees and other members a Happy New Year, and the varroa good riddance, do come along to the club apiary on  Saturday 30th December at 11.00 with some mulled wine and the odd mince pie – KBKA will supply the oxalic acid.  Also if you have never seen this treatment being done to a colony of bees it will be of interest to you.
